Turtle Nesting Site

Our shores serve as nesting sites for Hawksbill Sea Turtles and Green Sea Turtles. Nesting turtles visit every year from November to January. Approximately 200 hatchlings are released back to the ocean.

Marine Protected Sanctuary

We are Sea Guardians. Protecting the surrounding waters of the island against illegal fishermen and caring for our reef protects the health and conservation of our marine ecosystem.

The Discovery Scouts

Our Kids Program is geared towards developing the little ones’ love for Mother Earth. Afternoon activities start at 4PM daily at the Tree House.

Water Desalination

In the pipeline is the construction of a Desalination Plant to ensure a drought-proof, alternative water supply that will be available in the island.

Our Green Garden

Our green garden located at Taranuman Farm produces fresh herbs and vegetables so guests can enjoy farm to table dishes at Firefish Restaurant.

Tree Care

Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air well as other potentially harmful gasses, they also create an ecosystem to provide habitat and food for birds and other animals. At Club Paradise Palawan, we care for our trees as they are home to many exotic wildlife.

Beach Clean Up

We take an active role in the preservation and cleaning up of the beach as well as the ocean to aid in its conservation. If you wish to join us, the Clean Up schedules are available at the Front Desk.

Garbage Management

Color-coded garbage bins are located around the resort for proper garbage disposal. A clean environment is a healthy environment.

Ecobrick Project

A multi-department initiative transforming discarded plastics into basic building block units. Ecobricks will be used to build plant terraces in Taranuman Farm.

Reduction of Single-Use Plastic Consumption

An additional eight million tonnes of plastic are dumped into the world's oceans every year, where they are responsible for the deaths of marine life. Because most tourism activities take place in coastal regions and beaches, which the Philippines has in abundance, the usage of plastic in the industry can contribute significantly to the ever-growing problem. This was made worse by the increased plastic garbage generated as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic response, which was done in the interest of people's health and safety. Accordingly, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) launched a campaign to phase out single-use plastics (SUP) in the tourism sector last 2020, which was adapted and relaunched this year by the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI) under the Transforming Tourism Value Chains (TVC) Project, and the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDT).

Club Paradise Palawan joined the Campaign to Phase Out Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) and have been proactive in protecting and sustaining the environment in our day-to-day operations through ECOCONSERVE. To reduce our consumption of single-use plastics, Club Paradise Palawan uses EcoPure Water instead of bottled mineral water, cloth laundry bags instead of plastic, bath amenities are in easy to use refillable pumps, and we replaced plastic straws with metal straws. Before we invested in the EcoPure Water Purification system, Club Paradise Palawan used to order an average of 60,000 bottles of water a year. Since using EcoPure Water, we have eliminated these single use PET bottles through purifying our own drinking water and sterilizing glass bottles. More eco-friendly initiatives to come!
