Turning pollution into solution, Club Paradise Palawan embarked on the Ecobrick Project 2019, a multi departmental initiative aimed at transforming discarded plastic into building materials called “Ecobricks.” In this project, employees joined a workshop where they learned how to properly pack clean and dry used plastics into PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles to achieve a target density that is needed to turn these ecobricks into solid basic building block units.
The employees of Club Paradise Palawan were tasked to create ecobricks that will serve as the base for the plant terraces in Taranuman Farm. The team has already started the installation of the ecobricks and will continue do so throughout the year.
